Being a member of Alpha Gamma Delta has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college days so far. While I have only been an initiated member since December 2014, I know that my times with Alpha Gamma Delta will extend well beyond my college years. Alpha Gamma Delta's vision statement is 'Live with Purpose' and ever since my involvement in this organization, those words are some of the first I think about every morning and the last every night. This vision statement has changed what I truly value and how I make decisions, for I feel a day is wasted when I look back on my actions of that day and they don't align with living with purpose. Alpha Gamma Delta and its vision statement have ultimately improved my realtionships with others, taught me professionalism, as well as broaden my sense of self.

     Through involvement with Alpha Gamma Delta, I have been more engaged in community service and philanthrophy, be that with the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, which is particularly focused toward research surrounding juvenille diabetes, or other Greek organizations' philanthropies on campus.  

     I have also served on the Public Relations committee managing the organizations' campus Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. I now serve on the Membership Development committee, leading personal growth activites and workshops for the entire chapter of 110 women.
