My freshmen year I played for the Appalachian State Women's Club Lacrosse Team. We traveled to universities all around the state. It was a wonderful way to represent the university while playing a sport I love.

My love for lacrosse began in high school. Through my high school team we won the State Championship in 2012 and I was awarded with the Sportmanship Award. By playing lacrosse and other sports throughout my life I have been able to gain the understanding of what it truly means to be part of a team. My teammates and I would support each other through the good and bad games and more importantly on and off the field. I am thankful for my time playing sports and hope to continue this passion by hopefully coaching someday.
