The freshman Service and Leadership Residential Learning

Community is where I have called home for the past year. The Service and Leadership community is in its tenth year here at Appalachian State and is determined to leave a positive legacy behind for the following year's participants. Each member of the residential learning community is required to complete fifteen service hours within the Boone community, attend various civic engagements, and become involved in on campus leadership positions. We work very closely with our sponsering departments, Center for Student Involvement & Leadership (CSIL) and Appalachian & the Community Together (ACT) , in order to give back to a community and university who has given us so much.
