LiDAR Change Detection of the Salmon Falls Landslide
GHY 4810 | Digital Image Processing
LiDAR is an emerging technology in the geospatial industries, and its use has shown great promise in broadening the range in which landscapes can be measured. For this analysis, I chose to carry out a change detection analysis of the Salmon Falls Landslide in Salmon Falls, Idaho to accurately measure the impact of the slide's subsidence. Using data derived from the University of Idaho and processing/analysis tools in ENVI 5.2 and ArcGIS, I created outputs that represent changes in the Salmon Falls landscape.
